The room is the best bedroom in the apartment. It's south-facing, gets a ton of natural light, and overlooks the back yard, which is very green with lots of trees. It has large windows with exterior blinds that are remote-controlled. The area is very quiet, so even if you leave the windows open, you won't hear a peep. The room (~17 m^2) is the best bedroom in a large apartment (~105 m^2). The current person living in the room is selling their furnishings. He's moving abroad because he got a nice job offer. But the apartment can be available unfurnished as well. On top of the room, there is a ton of storage in the hallway, bike storage in the basement, and a cellar storeroom. The street is literally "park street," as both ends of the street have parks on them (Schlosspark Schönhausen and Bürgerpark Pankow). This is a very quiet street, and the apartment faces the garden section, so it is even quieter. It's an 8min walk to the M1, and busses (250, 255) and a 15min walk to the S-bahn and U-Bahn (U2, S1, S2, S8, S26, S85). It's an 8min walk to a shopping center with everything you could need. There are bike lanes that can take you from here to the city center. Pankow is great. It's close enough and well-connected enough that you can get most places very quickly, but it's quieter and less busy than the city. I am looking for a flatmate. The room isn't for sharing (sorry, couples and families). I would prefer someone who is comfortable speaking English, as my German is still at A1. You are be able to get the Wohnungsgeberbestaetigung (town all registration at the address). I moved to Berlin to be closer to my partner, who lives in a town north of Berlin. I enjoy living with people, and I'm looking for someone who would want to cook together a few times a week (I'm a great cook), is friendly and a huge bonus if you'd be willing to join for a Padel game from time to time. About myself: I have lived with others for most of my life. I like living with people, and I try to respect the people I live with. I am very clean. I cook often, and I like to cook exotic and elaborate dishes. I am social and I'm usually down to do anything social. I occasionally cook group dinners and host movie nights. I work for a large music company that works with some big-name artists. I also love movies, and I have a huge collection. Important to note: There is a cat in the flat. She's friendly, clean, silly, and sweet. I can't take any more pets (sorry). Someone who is cat-friendly is a huge bonus.
