The room Light and calm, with a large window and trees in view. Approx. 17 m². The room comes with a foldable bed with storage drawer, desk, chest of drawers, clothes rail and mirror, so a suitcase is enough to move in. Bring your own bedding and you’re set! The area The flat sits on the border between Othmarschen and Altona, a calm, family-friendly area that stays quiet in the evenings. The bus stop is a few minutes’ walk from the door, and the beautiful Altona centre is about 10 minutes away, which gets you the S-Bahn, regional connections and the shops and cosy cafes. The Elbstrand is a 20-minute walk, a lovely spot for a run or an evening by the water. Rewe and Lidl are around 12 minutes on foot. Green, residential, and easy to come home to. The flatshare I’ve lived here for a couple of years and work nearby in Bahrenfeld as an architect, with the occasional short business trips. I’m looking for someone for four to six months to begin with, with the possibility of extending later if that suits us both. Move-in could be early to mid October. I’m in no rush to fill the room; I’d much rather find the right person. A bit about how I live: this is my home and I put real care into it, so I’d love to share it with someone who is mindful and organised and appreciates a calm, well-kept place. It’s definitely not a party flat, but far from stuffy or uptight either. A shared meal or a coffee on the terrace now and then would be lovely, but you’ll have your own rhythm and space too. Miscellaneous Washing machines are in the basement, with a drying room for hanging clothes. The flat has its own storage room in the cellar, and there’s a shared bike room in the basement too.
